Devotion 1 of 2: Ps 107

V.3 says that the wise will observe (the history of mankind) and understand God’s lovingkindness. The wise means those who realize that affliction, death, trouble, distresses, and destruction come from man’s own iniquities (v.17-20)! And because of God is a good God, he delivers man when man cries to him for help (v.21)! It’s the foolish who blame God for the troubles they go through!

Devotion 2 of 2: Rev 5

This chapter continues from chapter 4 to show the heavenly throne room of God! We don’t see the multitudes of saved souls yet. Instead, around God’s throne, we see 24 elders sitting on thrones (4:4), and we see 4 living creatures who continually worship God (4:8). I believe the elders and living creatures all represent believers because in 5:8-10, they fall down before Jesus and say he has redeemed them by his blood! But I believe they are believers who are overcomers, because they are placed near God’s throne, and also they have been made kings and priests (v.10), which, I believe, is reserved for overcoming believers (2:26; Matt 25:20-23).
