Devotion 1 of 2: Job 7
Often, suffering comes because of our sins, but sometimes it doesn’t! In Job’s case, sin wasn’t the cause. It was Satan challenging God that he could make Job curse God, and God accepting the challenge because He believed in Job’s integrity (1:11; 2:3-7)! So the answer to Job’s question is, “You don’t have any sin that needs to be pardoned. You just need to be faithful and prove Satan wrong!”
