I think “He must manage his own family well and see that his children obey him” is very important because as v.5 says, “If he cannot manage his own family well, how can he take care of God‘s church?” Another quality that is very important is: “He must have a good reputation with outsiders” because only if he wins the respect from the outside world will he be able to lead a church that will be respected by the world, too!

This is a prophecy about Christ’s 2nd Coming to defeat the nations attacking Israel (v.6). We can connect the Feast of Tabernacles to this event, because during that feast the Jews celebrated the grape harvest by trampling on grapes in the winepress to make wine.
