Devotion 1 of 2: 2 Cor 6
Beatings (v.5). Paul was beaten by stones while preaching the gospel in Acts 14:19-21 and died, but his disciples prayed for him, and he was raised from the dead and continued preaching! This shows Paul’s complete dedication to spreading the gospel! And a wonderful blessing out of this incident was that Paul had an NDE experience (2 Cor 12:1-4) that gave him amazing revelations that he shared through his teachings!

Devotion 2 of 2: Isa 30
Judah apparently asked Egypt for help to fight Assyria, but that plan failed, and Assyria invaded Judah, and came close to conquering Jerusalem (2 Kings 18:13, 17, 21). One spiritual lesson to learn here is that when we depend on the world in our battles, we will lose! We must depend on God alone! When Judah finally did that, they overcame Assyria (2 Kings 19)!
