Paul’s trials were the persecution he was going through (v.4) for preaching the gospel. But he was unfazed by that because he knew he was destined to receive persecution (v.3)!

Devotion 2 of 2: Ps 63
In v.1, David says he thirsts for God in a dry and parched land. Spiritually, Japan is like a dry desert with no water! But in v.2, David declares he has seen God’s power and glory in the sanctuary, which was David’s Tabernacle! This can be said of Japan, too! The church is destined to be restored to David’s Tabernacle in the end times and reveal God’s power and glory to the nation! This will change Japan from a spiritual desert into a rich farmland with abundant harvest!
