Devotion 1 of 2: Gen 45
Joseph’s attitude toward his brothers was that he didn’t blame them for selling him as a slave but saw it as God’s will for his life to train him to become a ruler so that he could save many lives. We apply this to our attitude to other people by not blaming them for the bad things they did to us but by seeing it as God training us to become rulers so we can be used to lead many people to salvation.

Devotion 2 of 2: Gen 46
God promised Jacob that He would make Jacob into a mighty nation. This was fulfilled by Jacob’s descendants becoming a nation of 600,000 men (Num 11:21), perhaps a total of 2-3M people in Egypt.
