Devotion 1 of 2: Ps 86
This psalm was a prayer by David to God for help from a mob of proud and violent men (v.14). To me, David did not seem like a king, but a humble young man running from his king and afraid for his life because he wrote words like: “I am poor and needy” (v.1), “have mercy on me” and “save the son of Your maidservant” (v.16).
So, I think David wrote this psalm while escaping from King Saul while still a teenager in 1 Sam 18-30.
Endtime application: This psalm will be useful as an encouragement when the LDC is under attack from AC! Let’s be like David when he was attacked by Saul!

この詩篇は、高ぶる者や横暴な者の群れからの助けを神に求める、ダビデの祈りである（14節）。私には、ダビデが王としてではなく、王から逃亡し命の危険に怯える貧しい若者のように思える。なぜなら彼は、「私は苦しみ、貧しいのです」（1節）、「私をあわれんでください」、「あなたのはしための子をお救いください」（16節）といった言葉を記しているからである。
したがって、ダビデは1サム18-30章に、まだ若者であった頃にサウル王から逃亡する中で、この詩篇を書き記したと考えられる。
終末への適用：この詩篇は、終末教会が反キからの攻撃を受ける際、大きな励ましとなるであろう。サウルから攻撃を受けたときのダビデのようになろうではないか。
Devotion 2 of 2: 2 Tim 4
This is the last chapter of the last epistle that Paul wrote in the Bible. He was about to die (v.6). So, his words have special meaning for the LDC, which will face death by AC. Paul warned that the time will come when Christians will have itching ears influenced by their own desires and turn away from sound doctrine to fables (v.3-4)!
Endtime application: What desire do people have about the endtime? They want to escape the tribulation! If they succumb to this desire, they will turn away from sound doctrine to fables of pre-trib rapture teaching! Let’s love our brethren and help them see through this teaching!

これは、パウロが聖書の中で書き記した最後の手紙の最後の章である。彼は死を直前に控えていた（6節）。それ故、彼の言葉は、反キによる死に直面する終末教会にとって特別な意味を持つ。パウロは、人々が自分たちの欲望に惑わされて耳にかゆい気休めを求め、健全な教えから背を向けて作り話にそれていく時代が来ると警告した（3-4節）。
終末への適用：人々は終わりの時代に関してどのような欲望を抱くであろうか。彼らは患難から逃れたいと望むのである。もし彼らがこの欲望に屈するならば、健全な教えから背を向け、「携挙は患難前にある」という作り話の教えへとそれていくであろう。私たちは兄弟たちを愛し、この教えの真実を見抜くよう助けようではないか。
