Devotion 1 of 2: Ps 67

V.5-6 says, “Let the peoples praise You, O God...Then the earth shall yield her increase...” This verse is true because in the natural, positive praise stimulates health in plants, and in the spiritual, prayer and praise produce revival!
An experiment sponsored by IKEA in UAE compared 2 identical potted plants with the only difference being one was verbally abused and the other was complimented through recordings all day for 30 days. At the end, the abused plant became dried up while the praised one thrived! Let’s speak encouragement to ourselves and our neighbors every day!

Devotion 2 of 2: Col 3

Many years ago, I was inspired to make a worship song using v.16 in Japanese: “Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom, teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord.”
It had a nice tune and a wonderful message, so it was sung by some churches in Japan for a number of years a long time ago. Recently, it isn’t sung, but I think its message is vital for all believers even today! Let’s do what this verse tells us to!
