I think it’s foolish to deny God’s existence (v.1) because I think life cannot exist without a creator. Even the simplest life form, a bacteria cell, is so complex it would need 473 genes in order to function as a living cell!
Then the cell would need dozens of RNA types and proteins to read genes and manufacture other proteins. Further, it would need a lipid membrane to contain and protect the cell’s contents, and finally, it would need biochemical systems to convert food into cell fuel to live. Can all these happen without a creator? I say, No!

神の存在を否定するのは愚かなことだと思います（1節）。なぜなら、創造主なしに生命は存在し得ないからです。最も単純な生命体である細菌細胞でさえ、生きた細胞として機能するには473個もの遺伝子が必要なほど複雑です。

Devotion 2 of 2: 1 Cor 6
V.1-11 teach that believers should not sue each other in court but should settle problems within the church.
I know a case in which a church bought land from a believer and built a sanctuary. But later the seller accused the church of violating the contract and wanted the land back. For many years they tried to resolve the issue through talks but failed.
The church finally concluded the believer was not a true Christian because of his malicious behavior. This allowed them to take the issue to court, which found the seller’s claim invalid and the church’s claim valid.

1～11節では、信者同士が法廷で争うのではなく、教会内で問題を解決すべきだと教えています。
ある教会が信者から土地を購入し、礼拝堂を建てた事例を知っています。しかし後日、売主は教会が契約に違反したとして土地の返還を求めました。長年にわたり話し合いで解決しようと試みましたが、うまくいきませんでした。
最終的に教会は、その信者の悪意ある行動から、真のクリスチャンではないと判断しました。これにより、教会は訴訟を起こすことができ、裁判所は売主の主張を無効とし、教会の主張を正当としました。神が教会の誠実さを認めたでしょう。
