Devotion 1 of 2: Ps 8
The famous phrase in v.2, “Out of the mouth of babes and nursing infants You have ordained strength” is quoted in Matt 21:16 as: “Out of the mouth of babes and nursing infants You have perfected praise.”
Jesus changed the words “ordained strength” to “perfected praise” because He was quoting from the Septuagint Greek translation of the Hebrew Bible, which was commonly used in Jesus’ day. But this words change teaches that praising in the midst of battle instead of complaining is the strength we need to defeat Satan!

Devotion 2 of 2: Mark 8
Let’s look at the events in this chapter through R&R Vision. In v.1-10, Jesus miraculously fed 4000+ people. This shows Jesus will feed His people who cannot buy food because they reject AC’s mark (Rev 13:16-17).
In v.31-33, Jesus stated that He would suffer and be killed, then rise again, but Peter denied it. However, Jesus rebuked Peter, told Satan to get behind Him. God has ordained the church to be persecuted and martyred by AC in the tribulation, but many Christians deny it and teach pretrib rapture. This is not from God but from man!
