Devotion 1 of 2: Gen 39
Joseph overcame sexual temptation at his workplace by keeping a high moral standard of not committing such a sin against God (v.9) and by fleeing from Potiphar’s wife when she tempted him (v.12). One way men can overcome sexual temptations is by having a standard of not going alone into a house or a room with a woman.

Devotion 2 of 2: Gen 40
Joseph experienced disappointment when the butler forgot about him after being released from prison (v.23). But it worked for Joseph’s good because if he had been set free earlier, he would have been returned to slavery! But the butler only remembered Joseph when Pharaoh had a dream which no one could interpret (v.9-13). So he told Pharaoh about Joseph, and Joseph was released from prison (v.14), interpreted Pharaoh’s dreams (v.25-32), was made 2nd in command over Egypt (v.40), and was able to save millions of people from famine (v.53-57)! Application: Like Joseph, if we believe the calling God has given to us in the Word to become rulers and be used in the great endtime revival, despite opposite circumstances happening, it will come to pass, and we will take part in a mighty endtime revival that will save millions of souls in Japan and other nations!
