Devotion 1 of 2: Mic 6
V.5 says, “O My people, remember now what Balak king of Moab counseled, and what Balaam the son of Beor answered him, from Acacia Grove to Gilgal, that you may know the righteousness of the Lord.”
The story of Balak and Balaam is in Num 22-25. 1st, Balak asked Balaam to curse Israel. Balaam tried 4 times, but failed. So, Balaam switched tactics and advised Balak to send Moabite women to Israel to lure them into fornication (Num 31:16). This succeeded, causing God to curse Israel, killing 24,000 by a plague.
Endtime application: Acacia Grove = Israel’s last camp (Num 33:49) before Canaan; Gilgal = 1st camp in Canaan (Josh 4:19). The LDC is called to enter our Canaan = LDR. But we need to know the righteousness of God to do that! Acacia Grove = fornication with Moabite women. Gilgal = circumcision by cutting off the flesh. Lesson: We must cut off the sins of the flesh and fornication and walk in God’s righteousness to enter the LDR!

バラクとバラムの物語は民数記22-25章にあります。まず、バラクはバラムにイスラエルへの呪いを預言するよう頼みました。バラムは4度試みましたが、失敗しました。そこでバラムは戦術を変え、バラクにモアブの女たちをイスラエルに送り、淫行に誘い込むよう助言しました（民31:16）。これは成功したので、神はイスラエルを呪い、2万4千人を疫病で殺しました。
終末への適用： シティム＝カナンの手前イスラエル最後の宿営地（民33:49）。ギルガル＝カナンで最初の宿営地（ヨシュア4:19）。終末教会は、自分達のカナン（終末リバイバル）に入るように召されています。しかし、そのためには神の正しいわざを知る必要があります！シティム＝モアブの女たちとの淫行。ギルガル＝肉を断つ割礼。教訓：終末リバイバルに入るためには、肉の罪と淫行を断ち切り、神の正しいわざを行わなければなりません！
Devotion 2 of 2: Heb 13
V.3 says, “Remember the prisoners as if chained with them—those who are mistreated—since you yourselves are in the body also.” This verse has a powerful message for endtime believers because many Christians will be imprisoned by AC, and Paul is encouraging us to identify with them because we also may be imprisoned, too!
I just wrote a letter to Hawaii about what the Myanmar Church is facing. I wrote that the military regime has oppressed people in the countryside, so they have lost everything, and many have been forced to become refugees in their own country! Many have fled to the metropolis, so the Yangon Church is caring for them.
I have been asked to speak at New Hope Myanmar’s 25th anniversary, so I will be going for the 1st time in 7 years. But more than teaching them something, I would like to learn how to cope with persecution and still continue to serve the Lord! Let’s pray for the church in Myanmar!
デボーション2/2：ヘブル13章
3節には、「牢につながれている人々を、自分も牢にいる気持ちで思いやり、また、自分も肉体を持っているのですから、苦しめられている人々を思いやりなさい」とあります。この節は終末期の信者のためのメッセージです。なぜなら、多くの信者が反キによって投獄されるからです。パウロは、私たちも迫害されるかもしれないので、彼らに共感するよう促しているのです。
私はちょうどハワイに、ミャンマーの教会が直面している状況について手紙を書きました。軍事政権による地方の抑圧で、人々はすべてを失い、多くの人が自国にいながら難民になることを余儀なくされたと書きました。多くの人が都会に逃れたので、ヤンゴン教会が彼らの面倒を見ています。
ニューホープ・ミャンマーの25周年記念式典で説教を依頼されたので、7年ぶりに出席します。しかし、彼らに何かを教えるというよりも、迫害にどう対処し、それでも主に仕え続けるかを学びたいと思っています。ミャンマーの教会のために祈りましょう！
