Devotion 1 of 2: Amos 5
In v.14a, Amos prophesied to Israel, “Seek good and not evil, that you may live…” And, again in v.15a, “Hate evil, love good…It may be that the Lord God of hosts will be gracious to the remnant of Joseph.”
Endtime application: These words apply to Israel. Israel will deny Jesus as the Messiah until Armageddon, when AC invades and destroys their nation. 2/3 of the Jews will die, and the final 1/3 will finally do as Amos says. They will repent of their sins and receive Jesus as their Messiah, and the Lord will save them (Zech 12-14)!
These words also apply to the church. Many believers will fall away, worship AC’s image and take his mark to escape death (Rev 13:14-17). But by doing that, they will be dooming themselves to torment in the lake of fire (Rev 14:9-11)! But I believe that many will realize their mistake, repent, hate evil and love good and be saved!

14a節で、アモスはイスラエルに預言しました。「善を求めよ。悪を求めるな。そうすれば、あなたがたは生き（る）」そして15a節では、「悪を憎み、善を愛…せよ。万軍の神、主は、もしや、ヨセフの残りの者をあわれまれるかもしれない」とあります。
終末への適用：この言葉はイスラエルに当てはまります。イスラエルは、ハルマゲドンの戦いで、反キが侵略し、彼らの国を滅ぼすまで、イエスをメシヤとして否定するでしょう。ユダヤ人の3分の2は死に、残りの3分の1は最終的にアモスの言うとおりになります。彼らは罪を悔い改め、イエスをメシヤとして受け入れるので、主は彼らを救います（ゼカ12-14章）！
この言葉は教会にも当てはまります。多くの信者が死を逃れるために、信仰から離れ、反キの像を拝み、その刻印を受けるでしょう（黙13:14-17）。しかし、そうすることで、彼らは自ら火の池で責め苦に遭う運命にあるのです（黙14:9-11）。しかし、多くの彼らは自分の過ちを反省し、悔い改めて、悪を憎み、善を愛し、そして救われると信じます。
Devotion 2 of 2: John 19
This chapter describes the trial and crucifixion of Jesus. V.2a says, “And the soldiers twisted a crown of thorns and put it on His head...” Furthermore, Matt 27:30 also says, “Then they spat on Him, and took the reed and struck Him on the head.” By hitting Jesus’ head, they drove the crown of thorns deeper into His skull, causing more pain.
I believe there was a purpose for Jesus bearing the crown of thorns and being tortured by the thorns digging into His head. Is 53:5b teaches us, “…by His stripes we are healed.” The whipping on His back, nails in His body, stripes on His back and thorns on His skull all produced stripes for our healing!
And I believe the wounds on Jesus’ head were for our mental healing! They provide everything we need for healing from Depression, Anxiety, Bipolar disorder, PTSD, Schizophrenia, Eating disorders, Dementia, etc. Amen! Let’s believe God’s Word and seek for and receive our mental healings!

この章はイエスの裁判と十字架刑について記しています。2a節には「兵士たちは、いばらで冠を編んで、イエスの頭にかぶらせ(た)」とあります。さらに、マタイ27:30には「また彼らはイエスにつばきをかけ、葦を取り上げてイエスの頭をたたいた」とあります。兵士たちはイエスの頭を打つことで、いばらの冠を頭蓋骨に深く突き刺し、さらに苦痛を与えたのです。
イエスがいばらの冠を被り、頭に突き刺さるいばらの拷問を受けたことには、何らかの目的があったと私は信じます。イザヤ53:5bには、「…彼の打ち傷によって、私たちはいやされた」とあります。背中の鞭打ち、手足に打ち込まれた釘、脇腹の傷、頭蓋骨のいばら、これらすべてが打ち傷を生み出しました。これらは私たちの癒しのためだったのです！
そして、イエスの頭の傷は、私たちの精神的な癒しのためだったと私は信じます！うつ病、不安障害、双極性障害、PTSD、統合失調症、摂食障害、認知症などの治癒に必要なすべてを与えてくれます。アーメン！神の言葉を信じ、精神の癒しを求め、受け取りましょう！
