Devotion 1 of 2: Song 4
The shepherd, who is the Shulamite’s Beloved, speaks from v.1 to v.15, and the Shulamite speaks v.16. The Beloved talks with love and poetic imagination about the Shulamite’s body in v.1-5, then expresses his passion for her using very descriptive, flowery language in v.9-15!
We Christian men should seek the Lord to help us learn how to love our wives and become more excellent in satisfying her sexually. Let’s learn how to talk with her during intercourse, how to stimulate her body, how to bring her to climax so not only we, but she, too, will be satisfied by our lovemaking.
The Shulamite wants her Beloved to taste her body and wants her spices to flow out of her garden. Let’s ask God to help us study in a healthy way how to make love to our wives and satisfy her.

シュラムの女の愛する者、羊飼いは1節から15節までを語り、シュラムの女は16節を語ります。愛する者は1-5節でシュラムの女の体について愛と詩的な想像力をもって語り、9-15節では、非常に描写的で華麗な言葉を用いて彼女への情熱を表現します。
私たちクリスチャン男性は、妻を愛し、性的に妻を満足させる点でより優れた者となるために、主の助けを求めるべきです。性交中に妻とどのように語りかけ、どのように彼女の体を刺激し、どのように彼女を絶頂に導くかを学びましょう。私たちだけでなく、妻も私たちの愛の営みによって満足する目標を持って理想的な性行為について健全に学びましょう。
シュラムの女は、愛する者に自分の体を味わってほしいと願い、香りが自分の庭から溢れ出てほしいと願っています（16節）。妻とどのように愛し合い、満足させるかを健全に学べるよう、神の助けを求めましょう。
Devotion 2 of 2: 1 Tim 3
In this chapter we read about the qualifications of overseers (elders, bishops) (v.1-7) and deacons (v.8-13). They are leaders in the local church who help the pastor in caring for the sheep or in managing the church’s activities. They must be faithful and trustworthy so that the church will be stable and will meet people’s needs.
Much of their qualifications have to do with the leaders caring for and managing their wives, children, and household, because if one cannot rule his own house, how will he take care of the church of God? v.5 asks! We just mentioned one important aspect of caring for wives’ needs in the comments about Song of Solomon today.
In our churches, we use the term “leader” or “volunteer” in place of overseer or deacon. Let’s pray and thank God for every believer who is serving Jesus and His church with a heart of love!

この章では、監督（長老、司教）（1-7節）と執事（8-13節）の資格について読みます。彼らは地域教会の指導者であり、羊の世話や教会の活動の運営において牧師を助けます。教会が安定し、人々の必要を満たすためには、彼らは忠実で信頼できる人でなければなりません。
彼らの資格の多くは、どのように妻、子供、そして家庭を世話し、管理するかと関係しています。なぜなら、自分の家を治めることができなければ、どうして神の教会を世話できるでしょうか？（5節）と問うているからです。今日の雅歌の解説で、妻の必要を世話することの重要な側面について触れました。
私たちの教会では、監督や執事の代わりに「リーダー」や「担当」等のような言葉を使います。愛の心をもってイエス様と教会に仕えているすべての信者のために、神に感謝し、祝福されるよう祈りましょう。
