Two things about Jesus return that will be the same as His ascent are: 1) He will come back in a cloud (Matt. 24:30) as He ascended in a cloud (v.9). And 2) He will return with angels (Matt. 24:31) just as He ascended with angels present (v.10).

Devotion 3 of 3: Ps 8
God made man lower than angels, but crowned them with glory and honor (v.5) by choosing them to become the bride for His Son, Jesus! God also made mankind rulers over the earth and all animal life (v.6-8). Although man is so small and weak compared to the vastness of the universe, God cares for them (v.3-4). And even though mankind is like a child or infant, God will work through them to defeat and silence Satan, God’s enemy (v.2)!
