Devotion 1 of 2: Ps 125

The 1st half of this psalm is a song honoring Mt. Zion. V.1 says, “Those who trust in the Lord are like Mount Zion, which cannot be moved, but abides forever.” Let’s see what Mt. Zion means in the Bible.
*It was a hill in Jerusalem, made into a fortress by the Jebusites and conquered by David, who made it his city. The Tabernacle of David was set up there.
2 Sam 5:6-7 “…the king and his men went to Jerusalem against the Jebusites, the inhabitants of the land… David took the stronghold of Zion (that is, the City of David).
1 Chron 15:28-16:1 “Thus all Israel brought up the ark of the covenant of the Lord with shouting and with the sound of the horn, with trumpets and with cymbals, making music with stringed instruments and harps…to the City of David…and set it in the midst of the tabernacle that David had erected for it.
*Let’s learn many truths about Israel, revival and restoration by studying Scriptures connected with Zion!

Devotion 2 of 2: Mark 6

FRI, 1/26B (2/2)
MARK 6: Free sharing!
There are many lessons we can learn from this chapter. Let’s see how much we can cover.
*V.1-6. The people of Jesus’ hometown were offended at Him, so He could not do many miracles there. They were bound by unbelief (v.6) and by seeing Jesus with natural, not spiritual, eyes (v.3).
Application: Japan is bound by unbelief and by not seeing Jesus through spiritual understanding as the Son of God. But when the LDR begins, miracles will help Japan to break unbelief and to see Jesus as the Son of God, and many Japanese will believe in Jesus!
*V.7-12. Jesus sent out the disciples without money (v.8), telling them if people don’t receive them, they will be punished (v.11). His disciples cast out many demons and healed all the sick!
Application: This is a picture of the LDR. We don’t need money because mark of the beast, not money, will be used for buying. If people reject us, they will be punished (Rev 11:5-6). We will do mighty miracles!
*V.53-56. Multitudes gathered around Jesus bringing their sick family and friends. All who touched Him were healed.
Application: This is what the LDR will be like! Multitudes will go to LDC churches, where Jesus will be healing and delivering all who seek Him through His believers! This is how it’s possible for over 1/2 of Japan, 1/2 of the world to get saved!
